Star tenants secured at No1 Whitehall Riverside

New Star Asset Management & Town Centre Securities PLC are pleased to announce two further lettings at No 1 Whitehall Riverside. The prestigious office building, located in Leeds’ 5 Star West End business district, has secured insurance brokers Henderson Insurance and recruitment specialists Michael Page International and is now 95% let.

Both occupiers have taken 10 year leases on first floor space ; Michael Page International has taken a suite comprising 8,260 sq ft at a rental of £25.50 per sq ft and Henderson International has acquired circa 3,300 sq ft at a rental of £27 per sq ft.

No 1 Whitehall Riverside is the first office building to be completed at Town Centre Securities’ Whitehall Riverside development. The Grade A office space capitalises on its riverside location to create a unique working environment which has been further enhanced by the provision of open spaces and external landscaping. The 129,500 sq ft building is already home to law firm Cobbetts, accountants Grant Thornton and asset managers New York Mellon, who all signed up to take space at No 1 Whitehall Riverside before practical completion in 2006, and these latest lettings leave just a final suite of 6,454 sq ft available. Leeds based independant operator The Roast has also opened a licensed cafe/bar for business on the ground floor providing an extensive day and evening menu.

Sarah Butt, of Leeds office agency at Atisreal comments: “These lettings confirm that the appeal of both Whitehall Riverside and the West End business district remains strong. The building has consistently attracted a high calibre of tenant keen to utilise the amenities and transport links that the area boasts. There is single suite still remaining which is suitable for a variety of occupiers looking for high specification office space in a strategic location."
Atis Real, Ashmore & Associates and Sanderson Weatherall are joint letting agents on No1 Whitehall Riverside.
