The West End Partnership has been created by four committed developers in conjunction with Leeds City Council, who collectively have a figure of £1 billion plus of development in the pipeline, which in turn will create a dynamic community. West End Leeds creates a distinct area by virtue of its exciting urban design, great public realm, safe environment and variety and attractiveness of facilities.
The West End Partnership's vision is set firmly within the context of Leeds' vision "To be an internationally competitive city at the heart of a prosperous region".
Leeds is the third biggest city in England. Located in West Yorkshire, in the north, Leeds is served by Leeds Bradford International Airport, one of busiest rail stations outside of London and represents one of the principle hubs of the northern motorway network with the M1 and M62 intersecting just to its south and the A1(M) passing just to its east.
Leeds is 196 miles away from London and 220 miles from Edinburgh. Its proximity to other major cities includes Manchester (42 miles), Newcastle (99 miles) and Birmingham (120 miles).
Rail connections mean it only takes a little over 2 hours to travel from Leeds to London.
